From Ghorepani an early morning climb of an hour reaches you at scenic Poon Hill for a stunning panorama of mountains and magnificent sunrise with dramatic landscapes of rolling green hills.

The normal short route is heading back on the same trail via Ulleri, Thirkhedhunga a place with cascading waterfalls to reach at the road-head for the drive to Pokhara, the other route leads to a scenic hill within deep forest towards Ghandruk a large Gurung village, an indigenous tribe of Annapurna Himalaya.
From Ghandruk descend to lower warm paddy areas and farm villages for short exciting drive back at Pokhara blessed with the natural beauty of mountains and lakes.
