Encounters Nepal: Authentic Trekking & Adventure Tours in the Himalayas

Before getting in touch with us, whether you have a clear idea in your mind about things to do in Nepal or not, we will facilitate your dreams come to reality by curating tailor-made travel itineraries as well as assist you with our valuable suggestions and guidance. Either way, we are committed to make your journey unforgettable and create ever-lasting memories.
Whether you are planning a trek or a tour in Nepal, you need to consider the following parameters:
1. Best season to visit Nepal:
Spring (March-May) and Autumn (Late September-December) are the most favorable times to witness and experience the wilderness and captivating beauty of the Himalayas as the sky is generally clear during this period. During monsoon season (June-Early September), there is frequent and heavy rainfall resulting in natural calamities like floods and landslides leading to blockade of roads and mountain trails. Hence, it is considered the most unsuitable period to visit Nepal. In winter (January-February), though the sky is clear, the temperature drops below freezing point in mountains and the trail is generally slippery due to heavy snowfall. While it is possible to trek, you need to be fully prepared for freezing temperatures and never-ending snow. Since the mountain weather can be unpredictable at any season, you need to pack accordingly to cope with harsh weather conditions.

2. Your health and fitness level:
In Nepal, there are 3 grades of mountain trails - easy, moderate and difficult/strenuous. Based on these trail conditions, treks can be leisurely or at a faster pace. You need to maintain a basic fitness level with regular walks, hikes or physical exercise. Moreover, you need to be aware of your body`s response to higher altitudes (this will be beneficial during acclimatization period in higher altitudes). Please do not hesitate to discuss with our travel expert Mr. Rishi Nepal about the grade of mountain trail that suits your fitness level. You can contact and discuss over phone, email, facebook messenger, whatsapp or directly visit our office in Thamel. Our team always prioritizes your safety and well-being without compromising your overall travel experience because we believe in delivering the value-added service as prior commitment.

3. Festive season:
During your Nepal visit, if any important festival occurs then you can directly consult with our expert Mr. Rishi Nepal. He will assist you with best possible arrangements to witness or take part in the celebrations (as you wish for). However, you need to be mindful to wear modest clothing during temple visits or attending festivals (due to cultural aspect). Mr. Rishi will gladly explain the cultural significance behind that particular festival as well as suggest ways to fully enjoy the occasion, perfectly blending with the locals. We believe that enjoying these festivals on par with Nepalese and fellow tourists will create ever-lasting memories and foster your curiosity about Nepal`s history, religious and cultural aspects. This in turn will not only enrich but also deepen your understanding of the lifestyle of contemporary Nepalese society.

Also, if you desire to combine your Nepal stay with some other countries, then you can do so by either visiting the Autonomous Region of Tibet or Bhutan. Mr. Rishi is substantially experienced in organizing holiday tours in both these destinations. He is an expert in designing a customized trip suitable to both your needs and interests.
