Next day starting after breakfast with short drive to famous Hindu Phasupatinath Temple with golden tier pagoda roofs with four silver sided doors, the temple is busy every day with pilgrims and disciple from all over Nepal and India the main occasion is in mid February “Shiva Ratri” birth anniversary of lord Shiva.
From here a short drive to Little Tibet at Boudhanath, declared as the largest Buddhist shrine of South Asia. The ancient colossal chorten built in the 6th century A.D. by King Man Deb. With series of three terraces and from the bird's eye view it takes the relevant shape or of a lotus flower which indeed remains a very holy object for all the devout Buddhists of the world.
The chorten surrounded by a circular market of Tibetan influence, the chorten embraces the authentic philosophy of Mahayana faith of Buddhism known as Lamaism in Nepal, Sikkim, Ladakh, Bhutan and Tibet.
EncountersNepal wonderful tour continues with a short drive to Sundarijal on the rim of Kathmandu valley towards North East, from here starting few days walk to Nagarkot and Changunarayan, begin the trek with a climb through beautiful woodlands of rhododendron, oaks and pine tree lines at the top of Sundarijal with old water reservoir with dam. The trail leaves the water supply system to Kathmandu valley. From here trek leads to a climb to the top of the Shivapuri ridge, the first village on the trail with sprawling Tamang settlement of Mulkharka at 1,895m with few small tea shops where you can relax for a cup of tea and enjoy spectacular view of Kathmandu Valley. Beyond Mulkharka, the trail continues with a climb passing through an army camp (army position as Shivapuri National Park wardens), the trail enters the Shivapuri National Park. Most of the Shivapuri ridge is lined with thick forest of rhododendron, pine and oak trees. Then a short climb to Chisapani at 2,310 meters for overnight stop in local lodge with simple and basic facilities the highest spot of this trip here at Chisopani with fantastic panorama of snow capped mountains to the far west horizon view of Annapurna, Manaslu and continues with Ganesh-Langtang-Jungal Himal in the centre and towards east Gaurishanker, Melungatse to Everest range towards far east. Chisopani also offers grand views of sunrise and sunset in the comfort of a nice simple lodge. Next morning with striking views of the snow capped peaks and sunrise starting the trek after breakfast towards Nagarkot, the trail winds on the gradual wider rough road for vehicles; morning walk enters through nice forested area with constant view of mountains and then heading downhill to Chowki Bhanjyang on the midway to Nagarkot hill town, with lunch here heading on the easy gradual winding trail to Jarsing Pawa where the road from Sankhu joins, Jarsing Pawa has nice small tea garden at present with alluring views of snow capped mountains from here 2-3 hours of steady walk uphill to Nagarkot located 30 k.m. North East of Kathmandu on the valley rim,
Nagarkot is the favorite weekend gateway for Himalayan scenery and rural tranquility. Nagarkot offers panorama of mountains that extends all the way from Dhaulagiri in the west, Ganesh, Langtang and Jugal Himal in the centre and extending towards East Mt. Everest range. The surrounding countryside of Nagarkot is great for short hike, situated at 2,175 m with awesome views of sunset and sunrise.
Next morning breakfast with alluring panorama of mountains with sunrise, then walk to Changunarayan on the downhill path to Telkot village, from here on the gradual good path through the pines and rhododendron woodlands all the way reaching at an old medieval town of Changunarayan here visit the magnificent temple of Changunarayan dedicated to lord Vishnu. This temple listed in the World Heritage Site, a fifth century old located over a hillock 15 km. east of Bhaktapur the temple adorned with full of artistic works on metal and wood. Inscription dating back to 464 AD found here are the first epigraphic evidences of Nepalese history, after beautiful temple visit, then heading back with a drive to Kathmandu with a tour of Bhaktapur Durbar Square with full of arts and culture. There are many monuments of historical significant places to see over here are five storey Temple Nyatapola, 55 Windows Palace, Golden Gate, Lion Gate and many more.

Chitwan National Park area with 932 sq.kms. One of the oldest and most popular National Parks in Nepal is situated within the inner subtropical Terai lowlands of Southern-Central Nepal. The park was designated as a World Heritage Site in 1984.
The Park covers a pristine area with a unique eco-system of significant value to the world. It contains the Churia hills, ox-bow lakes and flood plains of the rivers Rapti, Reu and Narayani. There are more than 43 species of mammals in the park. The Park is famous for the endangered and elusive "Royal Bengal Tiger".
The park is home to the one horned Indian Rhinoceros, fresh water Gharial crocodile along with many other common species such as gaur (Asian bison) wild elephants, four horned antelopes, striped hyenas, pangolins, Gangetic dolphins, monitor lizards and pythons.
Other animals found in the park include sambars, chital (spotted deer) barking deer, sloth bear, palm civets, languor and rhesus monkeys.
The park is also famous for over 450 species of birds; among the endangered birds are the Bengal florican, the Giant Hornbill, the Lesser Florican, the Black Stork and White Stork. Common birds seen in the park including Peafowl, Red Jungle fowl, and different species of Egrets, Herons, Kingfishers, Flycatchers and Woodpeckers, the best time for bird watching is around March and December.
More than 45 species of amphibians and reptiles have been recorded in the park, some of which are the Marsh mugger Crocodile, cobras Green Pit Viper and various species of frogs and tortoises.
The Chitwan National Park is also an educational field for botanists and zoologists alike.
The park is actively engaged in scientific studies and research concerning several species of wild fauna and flora.
