With series of three terraces and from the bird's eye view it takes the relevant shape or of a lotus flower which indeed remains a very holy object for all the devout Buddhists of the world. 
The chortens surrounded by a circular market of Tibetan influence, the chortens embraces the authentic philosophy of Mahayana faith of Buddhism known as Lamaism in Nepal, Sikkim, Ladakh, Bhutan and Tibet. 
EncountersNepal Tour continues with short drive to Patan city, situated south of Kathmandu separated by a bridge over the River Bagmati. Patan also known as Lalitpur meaning city of Arts, visit the old palace courtyard (Durbar) fascinating tall terracotta house with intricate window carvings, and stone temple of Krishna with a pillar of Garuda the vehicle of Lord Vishnu and as well of Lord Krishna.

At Pokhara tour begins early morning with a short drive to a hill side at Sarankot for stunning sunrise view over array of snow capped mountains from world’s 7th highest Mt. Dhaulagiri 8,167 m, 10th highest Mt. Annapurna 8,091 m and 8th highest Mt. Manaslu 8,163 m including range of smaller peaks with ever present majestic Mt. The main attraction at Lumbini is the sacred Garden that is spread over 8 sq. km. and possesses all the treasures of the historic area. The Mayadevi temple is the main attraction for pilgrims and archeologists alike. To the south of the temple, we find the sacred pond - Puskarni - where Queen Mayadevi had taken a bath just before giving birth to the Buddha. There are more than fifty monasteries around the area. A visit to different monasteries from different Buddhist school gives an important memory. Some of the monasteries are: Chinese monastery, Japanese monastery, Korean monastery, Tibetan monastery, Thai monastery, Sri Lanka monastery, Burmese (Myanmar) monastery with India and Nepal monasteries.
After the historic visit return back to respective hotel, and next day drive to Chitwan National Park for elephant safari, jungle walk in the comfort of best hotels, resorts and jungle lodge.
Chitwan National Park area with 932 sq.kms. One of the oldest and most popular National Parks in Nepal is situated within the inner subtropical Terai lowlands of Southern-Central Nepal. The park was designated as a World Heritage Site in 1984.
The Park covers a pristine area with a unique eco-system of significant value to the world. It contains the Churia hills, ox-bow lakes and flood plains of the rivers Rapti, Reu and Narayani. There are more than 43 species of mammals in the park. The Park is famous for the endangered and elusive "Royal Bengal Tiger". 
The park is home to the one horned Indian Rhinoceros, fresh water Gharial crocodile along with many other common species such as gaur (Asian bison) wild elephants, four horned antelopes, striped hyenas, pangolins, Gangetic dolphins, monitor lizards and pythons.
Other animals found in the park include sambars, chital (spotted deer) barking deer, sloth bear, palm civets, languor and rhesus monkeys.
The park is also famous for over 450 species of birds; among the endangered birds are the Bengal florican, the Giant Hornbill, the Lesser Florican, the Black Stork and White Stork. Common birds seen in the park including Peafowl, Red Jungle fowl, and different species of Egrets, Herons, Kingfishers, Flycatchers and Woodpeckers, the best time for bird watching is around March and December.
More than 45 species of amphibians and reptiles have been recorded in the park, some of which are the Marsh mugger Crocodile, cobras Green Pit Viper and various species of frogs and tortoises.
The Chitwan National Park is also an educational field for botanists and zoologists alike.
The park is actively engaged in scientific studies and research concerning several species of wild fauna and flora.
In Chitwan with 2 days of jungle activities and then driving back to Kathmandu on the same highway and transfer to respective hotels.

Trip Itinerary:

DAY 01
Arrival Kathmandu, reception at the airport by a representative of Encounters Nepal, transfer to a Hotel in Kathmandu. Welcome drink. Meet the Manager from Encounters Nepal for tour briefing.
DAY 02
After breakfast, guided city tour to the World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu such as Swoyambhunath (Oldest Buddhist Stupa in the World), Pashupatinath (Hindu’s Temple), Boudhanath (One of the biggest Monastery in the World), Patan Museum, Golden Temple (Buddhists’ Monastery), Tibetan Refugee Camp. Transfer to Hotel for overnight rest.
DAY 03
After breakfast, guided city tour to the World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu such as Kathmandu Durbar Square (Old Palace), Swoyambhunath (Oldest Buddhist Stupa in the World), then visit Bhaktapur city, the ancient town in Kathmandu. Transfer to Hotel for overnight rest.
DAY 04
After breakfast, drive by car for 200kms through the scenic highway on the bank of the River early morning to Pokhara, transfer to a Hotel..
DAY 05
After breakfast, city tour in Pokhara such as Devi’s Fall (Natural Water Fall), Gupteshwor Cave and boating on Fewa Lake for one hour in the afternoon. Transfer to Hotel for overnight rest.
DAY 06
Walk for one hour to World Peace Stupa across the Fewa Lake early morning for Sunrise view, walk back to Hotel, where you will see a lifetime memory of scenic mountain views including Fishtail shadowed on Fewa Lake. After breakfast, visit Mahendra Pul to view the underground Seti River and International Mountain Museum. Visit Buddhist Monastery in the afternoon. Transfer to Hotel for overnight rest.
DAY 07
After breakfast, drive by car for 230kms via Butwal through the scenic highway by public bus (please note that tourist buses are not available on this route) to Lumbini, Lord Buddha’s birthplace, transfer to a Hotel.
DAY 08
In Lumbini: Lumbini-a world heritage site, is the sacred birthplace of Siddhartha Gautam, the Shakya Prince, the eventual Shakyamunu and the ultimate Buddha - the Enlightened One. It is the holiest pilgrimage site for Buddhists. The main attraction at Lumbini is the sacred Garden that is spread over 8 sq. km. and possesses all the treasures of the historic area. DAY 10
Full day Jungle Safari tour.
DAY 11
After breakfast, drive back for 170kms through the bank of the Trisuli River to Kathmandu, transfer to Hotel.
DAY 12
Rest day and shopping in the afternoon. Stay overnight at Hotel.
DAY 13
Farewell and transfer to international airport for onward flight.
