The founding company Encounters Nepal dot com (P) Ltd. is a well known name among travelers to Nepal today. This organization has been formed with over a decade of experience in Himalayan exploration and also covers all aspects of travel within the tourism sector of Nepal. We started with a small group of people with big dreams that we wanted to translate into reality. We have served adventurers from all corners of the globe; & we serve them till this day. We have toiled our way up to becoming major operators with a sound reputation in the travel business that crosses over a decade in planning and implementing unique trekking programs and interesting historical tours throughout Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan. After studying and researching the whole gamut of tourism in Nepal we decided to establish our own trek company Encounters Nepal.com with the sole purpose of being more service oriented than commercially inclined in all areas of our operations.

We are a wholly Nepalese-owned company, having been in business for more than a decade. Based in the world’s most famous tourists’ hub of Asia - THAMEL; we specialize in escorted adventure tours to spectacular destinations throughout the Himalaya across 3 countries. Our mission is to share our passion for travel with like-minded people.

We don't subscribe to the normal concept of escorted travel. Our tours are not for those who want to be herded around in large groups, seeing sights merely from the inside of buses. We treat each of our travelers as an individual, appreciating that each has individual interests. Wherever possible we try to accommodate these in our tours, in addition to the wonderful programs we provide.

Rather than envelop you within the countries we visit, we will expose you to the true cultures and realities of travel within these marvelous and unique destinations. Where possible we avoid areas dominated by mass-tourism, instead seeking out hidden treasures rarely visited and experienced.
