Mountaineering Royalty Waived and Free Visa

The mountaineering royalty has 50% waived to Dhaulagiri peak from May 7, 2010 to 31st December 2011 and for this period free visa is provided for Mt. Everest and Mt. Dhaulagiri summiteers (Cabinet Decision- May 7, 2010).

The mountaineering royalty has totally waived to Waden Pawel Scout Peak (5891m.) from 31th March, 2010 to 30th March 2012 (Cabinet Decision- May 7, 2010).
The mountaineering royalty has totally waived to those mountains situated on mid western and Far western development regions of Nepal for coming five years. (2065/04/01-2070/03/32 i.e. 16 July 2008- 15 July 2013)
