Itinerary List
Day 01 :Kathmandu (1300m) to Lhasa (3650m) Take a trans Himalayan flight to Lhasa for one hour and transfer to hotel Rest and stay overnight at hotel.
Day 02-03 :Lhasa sightseeing Guided sightseeing tours for two full days to Lhasa- Jokhang temple, Barkhor bazaar, Potala Palace, Drepung and Sera monasteries. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 04 :Lhasa to Gyantse (3950m) - 261km Drive for almost full day crossing over picturesque Karo~La (5010m), Kamba~La (4794m) and colorful Yamdrok Lake. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 05 :Gyantse to Xigatse (3900m) - 90km Guided sightseeing tour to Kumbum Stupa and Phalkor Monastery at Gyantse in the morning, Drive for two hours through typical Tibetan countryside. Stay overnight at hotel in Xigatse.
Day 06 :Xigatse to Tingri (4100m) - 270km Visit Panchen Lama's Tashilhunpo Monastery at Xigatse in the morning. Drive to Tingri crossing over Gyatchu~La (5220m) pass. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 07 :Tingri to Ronbuk (4800m) - 110km Drive to Ronbuk through scenic Tibetan countryside. Explore the Ronbuk Monastery (highest monastery in the world). Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 08 :Ronbuk to Everest Base Camp (5150m) to Ronbuk - 16km Explore Everest Base Camp with the highest peak right in front of you as if communicating with you in a spiritual language and filling you with the satisfaction that you have made it to the base camp of Mt. Everest (8848m) (the highest mountain in the world). Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 09 :Ronbuk to Nyalam - 297km Drive to Nyalam through the beautiful Tibetan landscape accompanied by the lingering impression of the highest range of the Himalayas. Continue drive to Nyalam by crossing over the Lalung~La pass (5050m), from where one can enjoy the magnificent views of Mt. Cho Oyu (8201) and Mt. Xishapangma (8212m) being dwarfed by the height of Tibet itself. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 10 :Nyalam to Kathmandu - 156km After completion of necessary border formalities, drive to Kathmandu through the scenic countryside of Nepal.
